Surrogate Screening Services offers two packages: the base Surrogate Screening Package, and a Case Management Package that can begin after the match is made.

Although these packages offer standard support items common to any surrogacy journey, please contact us if you need assistance other than what’s listed here. We’d be glad to help!

Surrogate Screening Package ($2,000)

Our Surrogate Screening Package includes the following:

Review of the laws of your surrogate’s state with a licensed attorney to determine whether the match will work legally, and the parentage steps you would need to take. We also will review your state’s current termination laws.

Intake with your surrogate to review medical and pregnancy history, discuss the surrogacy process, answer questions related to the surrogacy journey, and confirm compensation, journey expectations, and termination views.

Request and review medical records. OB and labor and delivery records will be requested for all previous pregnancies. IVF records will be requested if your surrogate is an experienced surrogate. All records will be reviewed for complications and disqualifying factors based on your clinic’s requirements.

A thorough background check of all adults over the age of 18 in the household. It consists of a nationwide, state, and county criminal search, sex offender registry review, and Social Security number trace.

Virtual home visit. While on a video call, the surrogate will do a walk through her home to help us ensure that she lives in a safe environment.

Psychological evaluation. This is a personality test and interview with surrogate by a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW).

Group match meet with IPs, surrogate, and LCSW.

Insurance review to see if your surrogate’s policy can be used for OB care, or assistance completing application for an Affordable Care Act, backup, or liability policy.

Case Management Package ($10,000)

Our Case Management Package includes the following:

Communication with your IVF clinic, attorney, and escrow management company. We also can assist in finding these professionals if you still need them.

Assistance in managing your escrow account. Reviewing and uploading reimbursements, compensation, and other payments for your surrogate and other service providers involved in your care.

Assistance in scheduling travel for surrogate’s medical screening and transfer trips.

Monthly check-ins with your surrogate. We will be checking in with her to make sure all of her questions are answered. She will have the support of an experienced surrogate every step of the way.

Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) support as needed for your surrogate, and four sessions with the LCSW for all intended parents. The sessions occur prior to transfer and during each pregnancy trimester. You can request additional sessions with our LCSW if needed.

Referrals to an attorney for the contract, pre-birth order, and parentage, if needed.

Contacting the hospital to provide necessary legal documents, to find out that hospital’s own procedures for a surrogate delivery, and to answer any other questions you may have.
