“They’re almost like my best friends,” Molly said of intended parents for whom she carried a baby. “We text every day. They’re very close in age to me, and we are planning a family vacation together.”

“Each time I’ve done a surrogacy, I have done it for a gay couple,” Molly said.

Corcoran said surrogacy shouldn’t be done just for the money.

“I will always reflect fondly on being able to help start their families,” Corcoran said.
